Surface Mine Instructor Reference and Trainee Review Manual This Surface Mine Instructor Reference Manual is designed to help safety personnel plan and execute appropriate safety training at their mine sites. It is valid for both Part 46 and  Part 48 training requirements This manual is  in PDF format .
Lesson Plans These are lesson plans in both MS Word and Simple Text Format.
Pictures This is a selection of JPEG format pictures (taken at surface mining operations) showing the good and the bad.
PowerPoint Programs This is a selection of  presentations created by MS PowerPoint. For those folks who don't have PowerPoint, you can also download them as Stand Alone Programs. Also included is an HTML Preview version of the slides.

This is a LARGE Listing of All Videos Available for Loan to Michigan Mines from MTU-Mine Safety (This is a big file (200k) and requires some time to load.) Videos are available for out-of-state loan as well.
