Zipped Files
If you don't have a Zip/Unzip utility, visit http://www.ozemail.com.au/~nulifetv/freezip/ It's free. It's a simple (and small) utility that works with Windows Explorer. After installing FreeZip, all you do to unzip a zip file is save the file to it's own folder and then double click on it to extract it.

New Mine Saftey Jepardy - The 'Write-Your-Own' version.
Make sure you unzip the file into it's own folder.
Michigan Mine Safety & Health has produced a new version of the HTML based Mine Safety Jepardy that should make it easier for you to write your own questions. All the files are contained in a single zipped file for more convenient downloading. It is a large zip file (2 mgb) so it may take some time to download. However, it contains not only the game files, but also a tutorial on how to write questions, and a copy of a small HTML Editing program that makes writing the questions quite easy. When you unzip this file, do so in an empty folder. Then open the 'open_me_first.htm', file first, and follow the directions.

Tic-Tac-Toe
Make sure you unzip the file into it's own folder. Open the resulting TicTacToe folder and lookefor the file called "squares.htm". This is the main game board file that you start the game with.
Here is a new, web-browser-based game based on the popular Hollywood Squares Tic-Tac-Toe game. Like Mine Safety Jepardy, it is run using your Web Browser. Because Web browsers support 'Frames', it's possible to make a game board that consists of squares, just like a tic-tac-toe game. When you click on these squares, a question pops up in them.
Teams pick squares and the opposing team then answers the question. The opposing team can either answer correctly, or try to fool the other team by giving a false answer. The original team then has to decide if they agree of disagree with the opposing team's answer. If they are right, they get the square! Each square has scroll bars that let you scroll down after the team answers to let you see if they are correct. If they are, they get the square! If not, the opposing team gets the square. You can then click on the 'x' or the 'o' to have that pop up in the square to keep track of who's got what.
There are three full games, one after the other, and the best two out of three wins.
